Scarab Investments Ltd (‘Scarab’)
is a mining and resource finance and investment house. Established in 2008, the partners are career mining finance and investment specialists. Scarab’s services include company research, project due diligence and a wide range of resource investment services.

Scarab will only take on a project or client that has the potential to meet the exacting requirements of our institutional funding client base. Every aspect of management, capital structure, geology, project economics, politics and logistics will be examined with the client prior to Scarab being retained. We will then conduct our own independent due diligence, which, together with the client’s own independent reports, will be used to write a prospectus in support of the agreed financing mechanism. This may comprise straight equity, or equity plus debt in various forms. Scarab is also able to advise on all aspects of flotation, the partners having significant public market experience as past and present directors of listed resource companies.

Scarab advises a wide range of clients on acquisitions, divestments and strategic partnerships. We are project agnostic – it’s the base case economics that prevail. We are here to guide our clients through the ‘minefield’ standing between the ambition of their mineral discovery and the reality of a fully funded and floated listed resource company. We know from long experience what institutional investors look for in a mining project. This knowledge is like gold in the resource industry: it will save you time, money and disappointment.
